We dont read that Mr & Mrs Cortes have set up the 'find Mari' fund with their family on the board of directors and are already selling armbands, T-Shirts and mobile phone wallpapers. We also dont read that they are going to pay their mortgage from

It would never occur to any normal parent to do photo ops and PR stunts when their child is missing. Hopefully Mari will be found soon. You can see the stress, grief and anxiety written all over those poor parents. They're certainly showing the McCanns

CES Ventures Beyond Traditional Consumer Electronics

At the annual CES preview on Tuesday night, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) revealed its intentions to move beyond consumer electronics. Perhaps the biggest indication is that the organization has renamed its big conference, formerly the "Consumer Electronics Show;" scheduled for January 10 to 13 next year, the "2012 International CES."

CEA CEO Gary Shapiro said the change is happening because "consumer electronics" typically refers to the hardware and the show now includes software, services, and channel partners. Certainly, the show has been moving in this direction for years.

This year's show will be larger than last year's, with 1.7 million square feet of exhibit space,  2,700 exhibitors, and expectations of more than 140,000 attendees. Six of the top ten car companies will be attending, and Mercedes-Benz CEO Dieter Zetsche will deliver a keynote address. Other keynoters will include Microsoft's Steve Ballmer, Qualcomm's Paul Jacobs, Intel's Paul Otellini, and Ericsson's Hans Vestberg.
