The AES1750 smart sensor enhances touch-powered features of these mobile
phones by giving users the ability to quickly and securely lock and
unlock the phone with the simple swipe of a finger and personalize
certain functions of these waterproof mobile phones. Mobile wallet
purchases can also be authenticated by using the AES1750, enhancing the
security of mobile commerce (m-commerce) transactions made via the
phones. NTT DOCOMO has more than 500,000 Osaifu-Keitai™ payment
terminals in Japan which now accept payment via NFC-enabled mobile
phones, with terminal locations at many retail chains, convenience
stores, restaurants, subway terminals and vending machines. AuthenTec’s
AES1750 sensor combines multiple touch-powered functions in an elegant,
one-half millimeter thickness, yet highly durable package that is easy
to integrate in mobile phones, tablets, remote controls, GPS navigation
devices and other electronic products.
