How do I get my (non-bluetooth) mobile phone headset to work?

I have a Siemens a55 mobile, and have bought 2 cheap headsets for it. Both of them will deliver sound to the earpiece, but the person on the other end doesn't hear what I'm saying. As the same problem occurs with both 'sets, I suspect it isn't a problem

Try going to your phone dealer or any place where they sell Siemens phones and ask them about it. I am sure they will advise you. Sounds like you have the wrong headset for it.
