Nokia's Return in Market with its Debut Smartphone
18.05.12
Overwhelmed Nokia Company is struggling to come back and recapture the lost market with its first Smartphone, based on MS Windows Phone 7 Operating System. Phone has been launched in Nokia World Event in London, on Wednesday, 26 October.
Nokia is in do or die situation with the entry in Smartphone market as company has lost its market share over the past two years. Since high profile companies, Apple and Google have instituted their iPhone and Android Operating System based devices, Nokia has gained biggest market share by catching the attention of wireless phone subscribers all over the world. Nokia, claiming 1.3 billion daily users, has also lost its low end market by Asian manufacturers.
So, it’s a huge gamble for Nokia, which will decide its growth and survival in cell phone market.
The newly introduced Smartphones are the result of strategic relationships between Microsoft Corporation and Finish cell phone maker Nokia. Nokia has also announced to replace its old partner Symbian operating system with Microsoft Windows software.
