iPhone 4S Now Offered Unlocked In The USA, Right From The Apple Store
Announced back in October , the unlocked iPhone 4S version is now ready to be sold online and in any Apple store, within US borders. It’s a deal we were all expecting, alongside other Black Friday goodies that have surfaced this morning. Don’t expect it to be cheap though because Apple is going to slash a good price of your wallet, in favor of letting you own a SIM-free fifth generation phone, without being under the lease of a tyrannical 3-year contract.
This comes as a huge opportunity for those happy to roam outside the USA, the unlocked iPhone 4S being able of supporting any regional SIMs, rendering the owner disagree with those outrageous roaming taxes. The bad part with this version of the latest Apple phone is that those buying it only to escape a contract may only use it on AT&T or T-Mobile. The GSM antenna is the only one working ( or installed I rather say ) and it will not be compatible with Verizon’s network, nor Sprint’s.
The price asked by Apple for the unlocked model is $649 for the 16GB model, $749 for the 32GB model and those wishing for the big catch will pay around $849, for the 64GB model.
