Vodafone selects Velti to expand mobile customer loyalty program
Mobile marketing and advertising firm Velti today (27 October) announced that it has been chosen by Vodafone to launch the operators’ next generation of loyalty programs in the UK.
The new advertising campaign will target Vodafone’s six million pay-as-you-go customers through its Vodafone Freebee Rewardz program.
The Vodafone Freebee Rewardz program currently offers Vodafone pay-as-you-go customers rewards for topping up as little as £5. All pay-as-you-go customers receive a voucher code via text whenever they top-up. They can then go online to either collect an instant win or bank them and grow their points to redeem something bigger, such as discounts from brands including Blockbuster and Thorntons or save their points for larger rewards like vouchers and experience days.
Vodafone and Velti have also integrated social media into the campaign in order to increase its effectiveness. Customers can share prizes with their friends and family on Facebook.
